Pink Floyd Gas Mask

I love the Gas mask creature from the wall so I wanted my last work to be of it. I like this work because it has a meaning. It is a very scared creature in a human like form showing us in a state of vulnerability. This is a powerful message and I wanted to take this creature out of the movie and show him in our environment to get his message across. To imagine humans so afraid of bombs and being hit is a powerful thing. That is part of what this work is supposed to evoke learning about a time when humans responded this way to an attack because at one point humans felt this way. I would like a work like this to either go to the rock and roll museum or to an extreme fan of Pink Floyd.

Elephant Duck Tape

I was very excited to make something big and I thought my favorite animal would be perfect. I was fun to make but hard. I used chicken wire and other types of wire and lots duck tape. I got hurt a lot making this project but it was awesome.

Elephant project

It was very hard to make and frustrating. I started on it the night I got the clay and messed up so bad I didn't work on it for a few days. After a friend suggested I work on the legs first I started on it again. Then I was getting somewhere. I worked very hard to shape the elephant and make it look real. I wanted to add as much detail as possible. It took me about 5 days to finish the mother elephant and currently I'm still working on the baby. I tried to get the baby finished, but the clay wasn't hard enough and she was falling apart. I object of time in this project the the mother and baby the past and future. What the mother used to look like and what the baby will look like.

Elephant Idea

My idea for my last project is to make a mother elephant and baby elephant out of clay. I want to make them a bit bigger then I normally work. I have always loved elephants since I was little and a lot of my art has elephants in it. I have made clay elephant before, but I wanted to make these elephants more realistic then others I have made in the past.

Pokemon Fan Website

I have always really liked Pokemon. So I decided to post some of the drawings I have done over the years and recently of some of my favorite Pokemon. I looked up on like a free website builder. Then I worked on a few drawings and posted them on the website template that worked the best. I also typed out the reason why I love Pokemon so much and stuff about me.

Melting Frosty

I wanted to do a stop motion because I really like working with clay and thought it would be a fun new way to work with my fav medium. One of my friends helped me with the idea and I made the clay pieces. I set it all up and used my camera I took 144 pics and loaded them up on Windows Movie Maker. Each picture was showed at 1 second speed. The whole idea was to make people laugh when they hear the screaming of the wicked witch. The reindeer was to come over to the snowman walk over him and laugh which was suppose to make more laughter. I did this for pure fun and yes I do wish it would of turned out better, but for my first time I feel I did pretty good and I'm happy with what I did.   

Flower Power Project 2

When this project first started I was very excited, but nervous at the same time. I'm not exactly good with computers and haven't messed with sounds or video. This made me wonder how successful my project would be, but I was hopeful that I would make something I was proud of. Then we came into class and I was having to worst luck. I just couldn't make it sound right and was very confused on what I was doing. I went home not very confident about the project. When I came back to the next class I was still confused. After we went around and listened to other projects though and after a little help I found what I should do. Basically my goal is repeating. Repeating any sounds that I like and just having fun. My video is the same thing just repeating in certain parts that make it fun and interesting. I feel I have come a very long way from where I was last Tuesday. I am very happy and proud of what I did. I have surprised myself with what I have accomplished on this project and also feel like I have learned a lot and grown as an artist.
